Day 9 as Leng Lui Lou Si

Use almost a week to let myself adapt to the environment. 
Now I would say that I am already well adapted. 

Now I feel very comfortable staying in staff room doing my stuff. Before I go to class I will look for information needed say the English class. I browse the reference books left by the previous teacher ( the one whom I replaced him temporary) or read through the lecture notes again hoping I can get something for my form 4 students. 

When I get bored with English. I study Sejarah.
Yes. 
I STUDY FORM 3 SEJARAH ALL OVER AGAIN. 
I started from chapter 5. Read all those historical facts which I used to be so familiar with. Of course also draw mind maps while I am reading. Hopefully students could comprehend it easier if I show them the mind map first. Giving them a general idea of the content of that chapter. Then only we go into details like the SYARAT SYARAT PERJANJIAN TERTENTU and all those FAKTOR FAKTOR. 

Well. I think I am soon gonna start reading sivik too. Because I am teaching 4D for Pendidikan Sivik. That's not a very good class academically. But they are not bad either, they are just naughty ( I mean some of them. Not all. ) 

Yea when talk about 4D class, there was one thing which moved me so much. 
As what I had said, it's not one of those academically brilliant class. In fact it's kind of the 放牛班。Most of the time they didn't pay attention in class and they have very low proficiency in language, be it in BM or BI. It happened that I am their Sivik teacher for these 8 weeks. The previous teacher have been absent for about a month. Even when they wetr having sivik class not all of then copy the notes. I remembered when I first entered the class, I asked them what would they want to do. They said they wanted to sleep, go to computer room or even library. Anything but not SIVIK TEXTBOOK. I was not surprised. Even the first class wouldn't like sivik lecture in sivik class. I don't like it either when I was in secondary school. 
But this Monday, I had a sivik class with them. We had an agreement before that we are going to use one period of sivik to read text book and the other period we will be going to computer room or library. 

SO I THOUGHT EVERYONE IN CLASS LIKES THIS DECISION. HOWEVER I WAS WRONG AND I AM GLAD THAT I AM ACTUALLY GETTING IT WRONG.

There were a few students told me that they would prefer to have me study text book with them instead of going to library or computer room. 
Do you know how exactly I feel? I wouldn't feel so surprise if I get it from 4S1 or 4S2. But it's from 4D. The fourth class of art classes. I moved so much!
And the students who said that included a guy who wore a broken white shirt and always sleep in class. 

Do teachers neglect the minority students who are not as intelligent as the other and pay less attention on them? 
I dare not to say yes. Cause I have only been as a teacher for this short time. Not to say I am just a temporary teacher. There are a lot of work that I didn't do. I never key in student details to the system. I never attend any contact hour yet. There are lots of document work which I never done before. And I only being exposed to these students for few days and some of the moments they literally made me torn my hair out. 

How about the teachers who have been teaching for so many years? 

This post gone a little lengthy. Let's just end it with some pictures. 

 Have been so long I never sit in a school canteen till yesterday. 


Having relief class today to JAGA the students while they having PJ.
