BB cream is my most loved cosmetic ever! (Which is of the same level with eye brow pencil and brown eye liner). What's been so AMAZING about BB cream is, it literally makes my face fairer, for I have natural tanned skin; make my pimples and scar less observable; and most importantly make me look more energetic because finally I can somehow hide my black eye circle.
But the path to discover BB cream that suit you the best is tough and full of risk.
Why is it so?
1. QUANTITY USED AND QUANTITY BOUGHT.
Most of the BB creams come in small packaging, but it takes quite some time to finish it. Let say if you gonna apply it daily, a 18ml BB Cream from Maybeline takes me about 3 months to finish it. Just if you bought one new brand of BB cream and you realised it doesn't work good on your face, I consider throwing it is a waste, so no matter how I will insist to finish it before I could get myself another brand.
2. PRICE
Honestly I don't allocate much budget for cosmetic. Therefore most of the time I will go for economical brand like Maybeline. Well once in a while pamper myself I'll go for Shu eumura as well as some weird brand. But frankly, you get what you paid. That's a huge difference between the quality of these products from different brand. But well having the thinking that I am not a very professional makeup beautician, therefore I am satisfied with my budget cosmetic.
Here is my BB cream family.
Yeh no doubt, I consider foundation as BB cream family too, after all we use them to cover flaw on our face right?
1. Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector
Don't bother about the fancy name yet, it's a BB cream. Price about RM18.90 or something like this which is very very cheap. I just grabbed it when I found it in Watson even tho that time I haven't finish my current BB cream yet.
This BB cream smells good, this is the reason why I bought it. Most of the BB cream in the market got a very typical smell ( very difficult to describe that weird scent, but certainly not a favourable scent). But this smells like facial shampoo or facial cream from Olay or Garnier itself.
If I've need to use one word to describe the smell, it would be REFRESHING!
2. Maybeline Clear Smooth 8-in-1 Transformer
This BB cream comes with a lot of different tone. I used 01FRESH. It's a tone lighter than my original skin colour. It's of standard price at RM19.90, not sure if the price had inflated not but it has been kept in this price for quite some time.
What I really like about this cream was, it changed the tone to match with your actual skin colour after you apply it for a short time. This is those HIGHTECH function which I can only find from those very expensive cosmetic, for instance Kanebo Kate, which we can't get BB cream from them at RM19.90
Another thing so great about this is, it looks very natural after applying. There are some BB cream which I find out that I'll look pale if I gonna apply it for the whole day. This BB cream from Maybeline give you a more cheeky look but it's kind of oily. So basically your cheeks look red red very cute but your face is oily.
Seriously love hate relationship with this.
3. Étude House Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream
Many of my friends told me that Etude House sells very good cosmetic. Well at first I don't have confident at this brand, cause it looks so fancy from the outside which don't attract me from the first impression. But, well after I bought this, it somehow proven my hypothesis is half wrong.
Half wronged as in, it's a good BB cream but my face had allergy to it.
Bought this at RM39.90 or RM49.90 I can't remember well. This BB cream comes together with a sponge at the cover. So you can just squeeze it and apply with the sponge to have a more even BB cream apply.
It last longer, no oily face. Overall not bad, but it caused allergy to my face which now my face is full of pimples and scars.
4. Maybeline Angelfit Flawless Natural Liquid Foundation
Oh well this is not a BB Cream but most of the time I used it as BB cream too, which is not good to the skin. Most of the time I apply this as the first layer and then apply another second layer of BB Cream.
I forgot the price but I guess you can still get it from any Maybeline kiosk.
So what I like about this foundation is that; it's not plain yellowish or white kind of cream but it's more to pink. Ignore my tanned skin but I think it will look great on those who has a fairer skin. Cause one of the thing I realised when I use BB cream was my face look literally WHITE which is awkward and obvious that I applied a lousy BB cream. But oh well this gives you a more natural look. But best apply it with sponge or brush. Or else it won't be evenly applied if you just use your finger to tab it onto your face.

Product mom bought from Cosway. I don't usually use powder form of foundation cause I couldnt do it well which ended up look very fake and weird. But this is okay. I not sure how true it is but it is stated in the product description that it can be applied in dry powder form or even mosture cream form.
I don't know about the price but it's one of the Cosway thing which mom uses it regularly. Guess it would be from budget price too. I used it quite often when I worked, just use it as the second layer after I apply BB Cream. Of course without the Maybeline Foundation or else my face would be full of cream.
6. DermAfirm Intensive Blemish Balm
My current favorite BB cream. This is the sample I got from my friend but one little sample pack could let me use for about a week or even more.
Basically this is a brand from Korea which still don't have any proper shop yet in Malaysia.( I guess.)
And my friend happened to be the distributor of this brand in Malaysia. That's why he so generous and gave me a lot of samples from this brand.
So I couldn't tell you how much is it since even I myself didn't know that. But I LOVE this.
It is not the same with the other BB cream that I've used as in a little amount of this can give you good covering effect already instead of squeezing a lot from the other brand. And I also realise that it is better in covering my pimples and scars and give me a more youthful look. Well I know I am not old yet but my skin condition is kinda bad recently. Then it also comes with extra minerals in it. So when I apply it on my face I feel like I am killing two birds in one stone; got my face look better without scars and pimples while in the same time nutriening my face.

But oh well, guess that I'll have to stop applying any cream on my face now except toner and moisturiser before sleep. Solely because, my skin condition is AWFUL.
So dry and the pimples grow like rubbish along the road after pasar malam.
But soon,
